Energy Survey Program

With a few simple tools, we’ll explore how and where your space uses energy to better understand the opportunities you have to reduce your reliance and consumption of energy.

  • We’ll start with some traditional team building games to break the ice and introduce the idea of setting goals to reduce energy consumption and how we can use data to measure the impact of our actions.

We will then introduce the tools you’ll be using to conduct the audit of your space along with what information you’ll need to collect and how to collect it.

Small teams will divide and conquer the space and reconvene to share observations and plug the data into our calculators.

Our staff will help you along the way to ensure the safe collection of data and provide assistance throughout the event.

Teams will present their findings and suggested recommendations to reduce energy consumption in your space and back in their homes or work spaces.

The Triple Bottom Line

  • People

Saving energy reduces air and water pollution and conserves natural resources, which in turn creates a healthier living environment for people everywhere.

  • Planet

When you consume less power, you reduce the amount of toxic fumes released by power plants, conserve the earth’s natural resources and protect ecosystems from destruction.

  • Profit

Improving energy efficiency can lower individual utility bills, create jobs, and help stabilize electricity prices and volatility.

The road to energy efficiency is, in theory, a sustainability sweepstake. More efficiency means that less fuel is required to generate a given amount of energy, which in turn means lower costs for the provider and cheaper prices for the customers.
