SERVICES

Green Team Building

Green My Team facilitates your team through fun and engaging programs to better understand each other's strengths, weaknesses, and interests.  Through these experiences, the dynamic of the team develops to foster skills in collaboration, communication, and others that support the development of a high-functioning team. Our programs build upon the traditional team-building model by leveraging the team approach to taking on the challenge of “going green”.

Sustainability Training and Workshops

Staff engagement is often a challenge for organizations when it comes to going green.  We’ll work with you to plan and implement the right program for your team.  Popular topics include encouraging pro-environmental behavior change, weaving sustainability into the everyday experience, and managing facilities the green way.

Community Engagement

We’ll work with you to develop fun programming for youth and adults in your community. From green action parties to engaging workshops, educational entertainment will invite your community to access the educational, environmental and economic benefits of going green.

Green Site Visits

Every organization is different, so we’ll work with you to identify sustainability opportunities and integrate sustainable living and environmental stewardship into your organization.  Depending on your needs, you’ll receive recommendations for facility improvements, employee engagement, and client programming/education.

Seed Bomb Pollinator Program

Did you know that “seed bombs” originated in New York City in the 1970s? People use to make these tiny “green grenades” of native herb, flower, and vegetable seeds and then “bomb” large vacant lots where it was illegal or impossible to plant. They called it guerilla gardening.

Testimonials

"Danny delivered an engaging program that encouraged our staff to think critically about our ability to influence green behavior change. The activities stimulated discussion and critical thinking on the actions we can take to green our business and the programs we offer to the public to model sustainability in our community. We'd encourage any business or groups interested in learning more about practical solutions to protect our planet to work with Green My Team."

— Michelle Hepler, Iredell County Parks and Recreation Director

“Danny helped us realize that sustainability goals don't have to be overwhelming. Both big picture and small scale progress were made from our initial brainstorm, with a realistic plan of action able to be put into place the very next day. Forming a "Green Team" of our own staff who are dedicated to moving us towards a "greener" future was a great way to hear feedback from unique angles around camp. Seeing the pride they take in bettering Pocono Springs is impactful, and we are excited to empower them with opportunities to create change within our camp community.“

— Dani Suchow, Ponoco Springs Camp

Charity Component

At Green My Team, we believe that team-building is at the core of addressing the climate crisis. That's why a percentage of our program revenue goes directly to support Green Camps, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering the youth camp community to become a model for sustainability. Green Camps is leading the way in inspiring green behavior change among the millions of youth and adults impacted by the camp experience each year. By partnering with Green My Team, you’re not just building a stronger team—you’re also contributing to a movement that’s making a positive impact on the environment and future generations.
